Submission Guidelines

Poetry

Submit no more than 3 poems of any length and style in a single attachment.

Flash (Fiction or Nonfiction)

Submit no more than 3 pieces of flash fiction (max 1,000 words) in a single attachment.

Longform (Fiction or Nonfiction)

Submit 1 piece (max 2,500 words).

Art and Photography

Submit up to 5 pieces of any type of visual art.

Crescent Currents accepts submissions on a rolling basis. We are always open for submissions.

Crescent Currents does accept published work. If your piece has already been published, make sure to check that all rights revert back to you and the piece is free to publish elsewhere.

We also accept simultaneous submissions, meaning we accept work that is being considered for submission in other publications.

Submission Methods

• Email your submission to crescentcurrents@gmail.com. Accepted document forms are .pdf and .docx. Include an author’s bio of less than 200 words and a short cover letter.
• Fill out our submission form.

A response should be sent within a month. If not, please do not hesitate to send a follow-up email.
