Scar Crowned Light

I was sewn to the laughter of gilded shadows
And for an age I flew, flew, flew circles beneath
The keening labyrinth of my mind
But I rose like a wave of crystalline sky
And I danced in a shock of song spun wings
And when the River said she could
Wash all my past new
I just smiled at
My fields of scar crowned light

Ghost Edged Heart

Spread your cracking stained glass wings
The dance is yours but only for a moment
Let each whisper of ambrosia ignite
Your bones into lily strewn suns
The dance is yours but only for a moment
And sing the song that haunts
Your ghost edged heart in every
Sliver of deepening quiet
The dance is yours but only for a moment
The dance is yours but only for a moment
